Kelly Williams has been nominated as our March 2025 Super Mom! Congratulations!
Kelly’s family consists of her husband, Joe, and their three amazing children- Emma, AnnMarie, and Noah- who, she shares, “fills our lives with love, laughter, and a little bit of chaos.” Joe has been in the Air Force for 18 years, and is currently preparing for a stint overseas, making this family take a little more family time before he leaves. Kelly shares, “We cherish little moments– family dinners, bedtime stories, and all the in-between– because we know how quickly time passes. My family is my ‘why’-- they inspire me every day, and are the reason I built my business with flexibility in mind, so I can be present for both the big milestones and the small, everyday moments that mean just as much.”

Outside of parenting and family time, Kelly is running her own business, Apricot Lane Boutique, a women’s clothing boutique, that opened in town in 2023. She also enjoys reading, “whether it’s personal growth, business strategy, or a great fiction escape. It’s my way to recharge and keep learning.”
When asked what is your favorite thing about parenting, Kelly shared, “[W]atching my littles grow and develop into their own unique personalities. I love challenging them, encouraging their curiosity and coaching them through big emotions; it’s amazing to see them learn, adapt, and thrive.” On the other end of the spectrum, the most challenging aspect of parenting that Kelly saw was “Joe’s last 10-month deployment. At the time, Emma was just two years old, and AnnMarie was only 6 months old. Navigating solo parenting while working 60-80 hours a week was incredibly tough, emotionally and physically. I had to find strength I didn’t know I had, balance my responsibilities, and be present for my girls, even on the hardest days. It taught me resilience, the power of asking for help, and that I’m capable of more than I ever imagined.” Clarksville being a large military town, a lot of our community can relate to solo parenting while our soldiers are off fighting for our country. Solo parenting while running your own business, I can only imagine, is incredibly difficult, and definitely takes a Super Mom.
When asked what advice she’d like to share with other parents, Kelly said: “Through grace, you have to live. It’s by God’s grace that we are enough, and it’s so important to give yourself that same grace. You are not perfect, and your children don’t expect you to be. What matters is how you respond– when you make mistakes, get on their level, look them in the eye, and apologize. Show them that we all fall short sometimes, and that’s okay. Teaching them humility and forgiveness starts with modeling it ourselves.” What an inspiring piece of advice to share with other parents! Congratulations, Super Mom!
