Super Dad - Kevin Bracy
Kevin Bracy is known to the community as a member of the Bracy Home Group at Byers & Harvey Real Estate in Clarksville. To his family, he is considered a Super Dad. Kevin will celebrate ten years of marriage to his wife Imani Bracy this year. Their family consists of their three children, Naomi, age 7, Alani, age 4, and Emori, age 2. They are also expecting a son this year! Also, an important member of their family is their pet Chihuahua Bella, who will turn ten years old this year, as well. Over a decade, many challenges and milestones have been met. When asked about a challenging part of parenting, Kevin shared, “The most challenging thing for me as a parent would be to have patience at times. When you have [three] kids with [two] being the ages of [four] and under requires a lot of patience dealing with potty training, eating, and everything [else] that comes with it.”
Kevin, although acknowledging the challenges that come with parenting, has family favorites: “My favorite thing about being a parent would be watching my kids grow, learn, and love on each other every day. I love coming home from work and my girls running to me yelling, ‘Daddy!’ No matter how my day went, that always makes my day.” While parenting three little girls while expecting a fourth child and his first boy, plus being a realtor can take up a lot of your time. However, when Kevin is not working or being a dad, he enjoys working out, which is an important piece of self-care. If Kevin could share a piece of advice with other parents out there, he would say, “Everything is going to be fine and everything will fall into place. A lot of times we as parents can overthink things and stress over certain situations when everything will be alright.”
